I enjoy shopping at Trader Joe's, but I have to report continual disappointment with their biscuits/cookies.
The French Galettes Butter Cookies are not as buttery as they should be, and the cocoa baton Wafer Cookies might as well be packaging material.
I know this kind of complaint is very #FirstWorldProblem, but I still feel miffed.

Today’s #baking challenge was to make simple #biscuits . Not biscuits like the ones in the UK that I call cookies, but southern biscuits. I needed a vehicle for a delicious blackberry #honey . The simplest recipe can be the most challenging because either the texture is light and melts in the mouth or it can be tough or dry. Today was a triumph! Light as a cloud! I still need to work on my presentation though. Honey was purchased from a shop, Sticky Situations, on a trip to Pennsylvania.
