  1. @philcolbourn A Polish friend here in Eastbourne told me this morning about the evacuations; about how in some towns many people had lost everything; and also about how all this was bringing up memories of the terrible 1997 floods. This, too, adds to current trauma: memories of past floods coming alive again. #ClimateDiary #ClimateTrauma

  2. Another example why the term #climatechange should be permanently replaced by the more accurate #climatebreakdown: Temperatures are set to plummet as a once in every 250 year phenomenon of 3 Sudden Stratospheric Warmings (#SSW) dangerously disrupts the #JetStream. At this stage, we shouldn't talk of #climateanxiety but #climatetrauma.

  3. Today my #solarpunk essay was to be published in a Polish literary magazine, but I decided not to authorize the changes from the editors.

One of the most important parts of my 10-page essay was a chapter on the importance of acknowledging the upcoming #climateTrauma in culture. They decided it sounds "too much like a manifesto" - and cut it out completely.

I think it's a very important sign: talking about climate trauma is just too alien for us.
