I am trying to get the cover off my steering column in the D-Max.

Without breaking anything.

I don't seem to be having much luck and I'm doing damage that I was hoping to avoid.

#carmastodon #OldCars #CarRepair rubberized surfaces are time bombs. The "soft paint" disintegrates into a sticky mess, especially if it comes in contact with skin.

Those doorhandles are super sticky and disgusting... its time for some oven cleaner / orange solvent and scrubbing.

Car age is ~17 years.

I truly do not understand why anyone would buy a truck with a load bed this small. You would be better off with a station wagon.

These two have arrived at Porsche Museum/Web store, I’ve been informed. Both 1:43, made by Spark; easily one of the milestone cars in Porsche history. I need to get one probably customised with a ‘911 HUL’ plate. But which one!

If the car’s current owner agrees, #CarMastodon will see more of this. It’s an early example of the second-generation Maruti 800, and it might find its way to join the Grande in my garage. Been parked out in the open, it’s no longer clean and rust-free but my mate showed me how spotless it was a few years ago. #cars #India #ClassicCars
