The lawsuit alleges the design of the Cybertruck’s door handles is at fault for Tsukahara’s death. This excellent youtube video by a critical cybertruck owner goes over every major body panel which is glued on.

It's clearly possible to rip off some of these panels by hand.

Kinda surprised they haven't started walking off the trucks given how easy some of them come off.

Most panels appear to be easily pealed off part of the way.

There's been reports for over ten months about the glue quality not being up to the job. While most of the larger panels do have a few weld points the rear quarter panels only have a few small welds with the majority of the panel actually being held in with glue.

It's crazy that Tesla says the panels are structural load bearing elements but once you see all the plastic under there its easier to believe 😅

Reports this morning out of Kansas indicate two Cybertrucks also caught fire. Late monday night a Tesla in a dealership lot was seen on fire. The fire consumed the first truck and spread to a second before 1st responders could get there. They were out fighting the fire well into Tuesday morning.

modern cars with front bench seat, maybe like the 2000s era Toyota Avalon where the back of the middle seat could be switched down to have an arm rest + center console.

And I don't even need it to really use the middle seat itself.

It's more about the leg room. When parked, if I just wanna chill for a bit, I can easily stretch out my legs to the right.

So then, even if it's not a bench seat, at least do something give us more cars where the front is like the cybertruck:

Even though it's not a front bench seat, you get the same amount of open space leg room as if it were. I.e., in the cybertruck, the front is completely open space, but it still has a center console. It just doesn't block you off completely. It's open down to the ground.
