VW ID. Polo sold out for months ahead
In Europe, a waiting list is apparently forming for the VW ID. Polo even before the start of deliveries — at least for individual configurations. The waiting time is said to be at least ten months, according to a major VW dealership group. So far, VW has registered over 30,000 orders across Europe.

I love old Citroens, especially the iconic 2CV. I found some abandoned ones tucked away in a small English village.
My favourite was the Citroën 2CV6 Dolly. These were mechanically identical to the 1980s Special models (there were also a couple of them in this collection).
The Dolly came with a fashionable two-toned Art Deco-inspired paint scheme. This example is “Rouge Vallelunga”, a classic in red and white.

Und noch was Schönes und vor allem Unerwartetes heute: Als ich meine #Ente am Beladen war, kam ein Elektro-SUV fahrender Nachbar aus der Tiefgarage gegenüber und brachte mir das #Citroën2CV Modell im Bild und fragte, ob ich das wolle. Er hätte es "für die Kinder" besorgt, aber die hätten nie damit gespielt. Und jemand, der #Döschwo fahre, habe doch sicher Freude an so einem Modell. 🤗

The Answer to yesterday's #NameThatCar challenge... where I did my best to disguise a beautiful and truly iconic car, by sharing a photo of a bit no one normally notices! The car in question was a 1970's Jaguar E-Type convertible.
