The task group of international experts led by Dr Lydia Jennings will help the GBIF network establish community norms aimed at protecting Indigenous rights and interests in biodiversity data and knowledge. 📖

I wrote this paper 22(!!) years ago with Jason Schultz and Ahrash Bissell. We explored how #Indigenous rights organizations could adapt aspects of the #CreativeCommons "some rights reserved" model for their digitized traditional cultural expressions.
