During the Salem Witch Trails, the accusation of being a Witch meant death, which was the objective (the goal) -to get rid of people those in authority did not like.
For example, they would hold you under the water (tie a stone around you, for example), and if you drowned you were innocent, but if somehow you lived, it meant you were a Witch and needed to be hung or burned. Living through this accusation was not an option.

I can blindly claim anyone is a gang member or a terrorist, and then claim the burden of proof is on that poor, innocent individual that they are indeed innocent, which is an impossible thing to do. And with this logic, someone could make such an accusation to justify the damnation of any individual.

After watching Burn the Witch #0.8, do I still think there needs to be a full anime season of the series? Yes, absolutely. I didn't think the prequel was as good as the movie. But, it reconfirmed for me that the series deserves more.

Burn the Witch #0.8 might not be the full season of the series I wanted. But, as far as single-episode prequels go, it's pretty good. It adds a good bit of character-building for both Ninny and Noel.

I really wish they make more content out of #BurnTheWitch cos it was SO good and 3 eps definitely weren't enough D:
One of my most fav #anime of all time is still #BLEACH and this definitely has the potential to match or surpass it :(

So, my daughter's boyfriend is taking up temporary residence with us, and he has a Crunchyroll account that he's put on my TV.
I'm sitting here trying my best to figure out how Burn the Witch fits into the Bleach universe, but I'm only on the first episode..... geez, that's an awfully specific comment....
