On my stinking television (which comes with a Bell Fibe plan, included now with the apartment I'm renting) I no longer can sign into CBC-Gem. It just freezes at the logo now. I dunno what's going on. And I don't know whom to complain to. CBC? Bell? My apartment complex? Something else?

Seems the search assist of DuckDuckGo was puzzled by my question. That question being:

I use lineageos without Google Play. But there now is something called "google cast" on my phone. I recently acquired Bell Fibe for my TV and internet connection. Is there someway that Google is spreading its shit to my phone via this new Fibe thing I got?

Do note the Fibe deal recently came with the apartment complex I live in.

Anyone else in #EastYork experiencing the same problem with #BellFibe ?

@AhTheGreg I've had #BellFibe for ~4 years...it's been extremely reliable. The only time it's been down was after the 2022 derecho.

Like any Canadian telco service, you have to move every 2 or 3 years to avoid being abused. So I moved from Business to Residential.

Hey #Ottawa Mastadonians: I'm on my 13th hour with my #Teksavvy #ISP internet down and no sign it's coming back anytime soon, on top of which I know they're built on the garbage dumpster Rogers network that I'd love to be less reliant on for working from home anyway. Anyone on here have any experiences with #BellFibe, one way or the other?

Ugh. #BellFibe just died on me. That's a drag. #EastYork
