Passing through the airport today, I overheard someone talking about the mysterious #moondial of #Ballintoy parish church in #NorthernIreland.
I had never heard of a moondial before and it instantly fascinated me. I just found a photo that shows that the front face is a #sundial but the side face is a moondial or #tidal clock.
I need to visit this church and learn more. Moondials must be incorporated into the mythology of #Pelagia, goddess of the moon and the tides!
