Passing through the airport today, I overheard someone talking about the mysterious #moondial of #Ballintoy parish church in #NorthernIreland.

I had never heard of a moondial before and it instantly fascinated me. I just found a photo that shows that the front face is a #sundial but the side face is a moondial or #tidal clock.

I need to visit this church and learn more. Moondials must be incorporated into the mythology of #Pelagia, goddess of the moon and the tides!

This just could be "Catching Up Sunday" and so here's #PatMetheny (okay a week and change ago) with bits on his recent #Moondial release and current states of affairs. Oddly the hall empties. It's just you and three others and he's just sitting there on stage edge. Is this for real ? Nowhere to go but questions and he's totally there for it...then somehow you manage to ask that one question that is really going to piss him off.That's not this interview !
