MixiD just released version 0.1.6 adding the final couple of usb-id's now supporting all known #Audient iD interfaces on Linux! #linuxaudio
A big thanks to the small community we already accumulated who have been providing information to get this tool into the next step!

https://github.com/TheOnlyJoey/MixiD/releases/tag/0.1.3 Already added the usb id's for all but 3 out of the 9 #Audient iD usb id's, dynamically scaling the amount of faders depending on the device and doing some testing with some users! Glad to see how many users we have already in this short time! #linuxaudio

For any #Audient users with an iD interface switching to #Linux, i got you! https://github.com/TheOnlyJoey/MixiD
Finally found some time to get a basic mixer going so essential features like Internal Routing are available again!
Tested on iD14 and iD14 MKII but should work on every interface in the line with some minor help. Testing data is appreciated! -

Does anyone happen to know whether #Audient ever unshittified their app? They made such a big deal about their control panel being accessible, then it turned to crap with one single update. It's usable, but not as good as it once was. I purchased my Evo4 solely on the recommendation of others that the control panel was accessible, that they'd had chats with Audient and that they actually cared about #accessibility... Not so much from where I'm standing.

#Audient: Charges me £99 for a two in two out soundcard that I really like.
Also Audient: 'We have a nice accessible control panel.'
Also Audient:
'Check out Arc, where you can download some fairly expensive items that cost as much as, or perhaps more than your interface.'I never, ever download junk that comes with interfaces from other vendors but so far I've taken advantage of offerings from spitfire, Waldorf and Geforce.
Gotta say, Audient, you impress me greatly.
Thanks. -

Press. Good. I guess. Hahahh. Seriously though. Anne Liversidge at #Audient did a fantastic job wrestling my words into shape. And made the process almost painfree. https://audient.com/2023/09/25/jenny-brennan/

CW: Debating buying either cheap/expensive audio interface
Also considering an #Audient iD14, #MOTU M4. They're all more or less in the same price range, more or less the same specs minor some exceptions, and probably more or less made in the same place with the same cheap components… not expecting much. #Arturia offers a 5-year warranty, though, which sounds better. I wish RME had a more affordable model somewhere between the Babyface and Fireface UCX.

#Audient Evo 8 question. I have Audient's Evo 8 connected to my laptop. I have in Reaper, device, ACIO and entire range of inputs and outputs are selected. I have a microphone plugged in to input 1 and audio mixer in 3/4 Stereo. When I arm a track, I hear the microphone just fine. I purposely turned up line 3/4 so clipping was happening. But I can't figure out how to select what channels are fed to the mix in Reaper. It's So how, in the Evo app do I route channels to the mix? Thanks all for any help. Or even better, if I read the manual, which I have read part of, is this process explained enough that someone with a screen reader could figure it out?
