Still haven't quite figured it out yet, but I did get DNS working to resolve container.namespace.svc.k8s.home addresses, even outside the cluster. That'll help with internal communications, but really doesn't help me with the external DNS requests I want for (ingress-url).k8s.home.
I'm getting closer, but not quite there yet.

I've been working through my Pocket read-later queue. Saturday morning is spent catching up on the previous week’s saves and Sunday morning is going backwards to earlier saves.
I'm now into November 2023, so it is an interesting lens as to what I was curious about then.
Today, I learned about the Sieve of Eratosthenes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sieve_of_Eratosthenes
Have you learned anything interesting this weekend? 🤔

Agentforce has been a massive part of my role over the past few months, so I am excited to share that this morning I passed my AI Specialist exam.
It was a nice step up from the associate exam, taking the key principles and how they are used in a Salesforce context.

I've been slowly working my way through some art-based courses on #Skillshare, some more successfully than others. The latest one is basically a course on different styles of colouring in, perfect for me who still can't draw to save her life but can just about colour inside the lines if she really tries.
Anyway here's lesson 1 of 15. I'm not posting this because I think it's good, I'm posting it because one day maybe it will be good and I'm proud of myself for trying.

@aaron #AlwaysBeLearning It's endless, but maybe part of the fun. :)

Reading through your old code reminds you of how far you have come on your journey.
You can see the beginning where you started with copy pasta and then moved onto writing your own stuff.
It is even more stark when you come back to it after a few months or even years and see the code and say to yourself.
How the hell does this work -
Follow up: I've installed Nova and cloned a git repository from 11ty. This is a sentence full of words I believe are 1) real and 2) syntactically-correct.
So I guess I'm a web developer now? Am I able to hack mainframes? What about IPs?
Look, I'm flailing here and just hoping for the best.

A great reminder from @mariatta:
It's OK not to know things in your language of choice.
Core devs check the docs all the time (and not only to verify them).

🤔 What *is* **#ApacheFlink**?
📖In this second post in my **#learningFlink** series, I'm taken a high-level look at what it is, where you can run it, who uses it, and the kind of use cases for which it's designed.

So language models are all the rafe right now and the era of vision models is past or dormant but what I'm flopping around the edge of right now are multi-modal foundation models.
If #AI is our attempt to recreate that reasoning or gut instinct that we as humans have them we have to understand that it's made up of a bunch of smaller inferences from multiple senses all combined.
So the multi modal stuff makes sense to me.
What I'm wondering is even if we get that sorted, well, how do we get a shared context between person and AI? You see an inkling of it with stuff like chatgpt. How do we have a multimodal model and a person share a context across multiple "senses" and exchange that back and forth?
I understand basically nothing in this area which is why I think I find it fascinating. #alwaysbelearning #alwaysbenoobin

I learned today that you can do this is SSH config:
Host [easy to remember name]
Hostname [hostname or IP address]
User [username]and just type ssh [easy name] to connect.
Some days I feel like I know a lot, and some days I learn something like this and realize I know so very little.

@cfiesler wow! Thanks for sharing all this! I’m not on the tiktok so this is really nice to make it accessible like this.
The video about the monkey selfie was really interesting, I was able to watch it without an acct.
I’m looking forward to learning more 🙏 -
