The bad news is I'd still rather be playing #AgeOfSteam. The worse is that I still haven't had a chance since my last post, and as always, have work to do instead.

I'm here, but I'd rather be playing #AgeOfSteam right now than working.

Dank schlechterem Wetter und der #Spiel23 wird im Oktober endlich mal wieder ordentlich gespielt.

Viele Erstpartien, wobei mich #Hitster am meisten geflasht hat. Hätte nicht erwartet dass ich das so gut finde. #PlantaNubo dagegen ist nix für mich, gut dass ich es auf der Messe nicht mitgenommen hab.

Und natürlich auch einige alte Bekannte, wie #AgeOfSteam und #PeoplePower.

Das darf im November gerne so weiter gehen 😀

K4S 1361 Restoration
New firebox being constructed in the current restoration project for PRR 1361 steam locomotive. Built in 1918, retired in 1956 after over a million miles of service. Prior restoration projects in some cases created some new issues. This project has a great engineering analysis and project team driving towards what will result in a steam engine capable of traveling across Pennsylvania. Education and linking to past. Great work being done in Altoona, PA. This picture shows the new firebox being fabricated onto the the original 1918 boiler. I'm the kinda dork who does an #AgeOfSteam redraw, and instantly goes 'Huh. Now I've got the assets, I should try making a map of my own!'

First draft of 'Victorian Gold Rush', a solo map, might be almost done. Then to figure out if it actually plays OK.

Decided I wanted to try the Scotland #AgeOfSteam map, so did my first redraw. I'm quite happy with how this turned out, so there's a reasonable chance I'll make another.

Still loving #AgeOfSteam. Every game has been interesting. Slightly annoyingly, still find myself reteaching it almost every game, normally with at least one new player.

This one had a bankruptcy which was interesting.

So, eine weitere Wissenslücke beseitigt, und das ist echt gut so, weil das Spiel viel Spaß macht: #AgeOfSteam auf der Rust Belt Map zu viert. Man erkennt früh warum die Spieler-Reihenfolge so wichtig ist, wird immer wieder von kleinen Gemeinheiten der Mitspieler überrascht und ist immer auf der Suche nach der ineffizientesten, weil lukrativsten Strecke für die Güter.
Bin gespannt wie die lokale Spielegruppe das findet, könnte gut passen. #Brettspiele #boardgames

@florik hat in unserer letztjährigen Weihnachtsausgabe Nr.138 über #Steam geschrieben, eins seiner Lieblingsspiele.

Erstaunlich, dass #AgeOfSteam bzw. #Steam auch 20 Jahre später noch so viele Fans hat.
