I’m hoping by the end of the summer of next year I’ll be completing my Masters in Cybersecurity. While I’m happy I’ll have more time back I’m also ready to start a new program (part time) but not sure of what to focus on so looking for inspiration. As a data person and current product manager I’m considering a Masters in Analytics from GaTech given their quality and affordability but I’m wondering if I should instead explore other passions like writing, research and anything analytical. What area of research do you see the need for more experts in and why?

I originally posted this on Twitter in relation to stuff going on there, but think it may have some interest here too, on the following thought: bigger name scholars jumping way out their wheelhouse (in the humanities, though I'm coming at this as a Medievalist specifically) to do public-facing work in areas there are specialists in does create issues we should think about more as an academic community.
