Turns out there is a native #LibAdwaita speedtest utility application for #GNOME desktops, and it uses uses #LibreSpeed. Very cool. I wish it (librespeed?) had more server choices available.
I used it for fun, looked at the bug tracker, saw someone reported high CPU usage, so of course I dropped everything else to profile it with #sysprof : https://github.com/Ketok4321/speedtest/issues/29#issuecomment-2192412380

I've given some love to MakerTube, now I want to give some to my second home: LiveSpace.
LS is a livestreaming alternative that's genuinely different, and started for artists, musicians, & makers (albeit there are MANY multi-streaming gamers on there currently, but it's shifting...)
They released their API today, along with a retrospective of their progress thus far and roadmap for their future.
