Discovered nearly 250 images taken 10 years ago at Chaco Canyon. 29 of those have a sidecar file that for some reason I never processed; the rest are "virgins". So a treasure trove to look through this winter!
Here's the first one, freshly processed, showing details of walls and windows. I believe this is part of the Pueblo Bonito Great House, but it's guesswork at this remove.

House on Fire Ruins
South Mule Canyon, UTNot the usual perspective one typically sees for this famous ancient dwelling. My 10mm ultra-wide lens makes the curving cliff face look more dome-like, which it is not. But this way you can see all of the several units of the ruins.
The "fire" refers to the layering pattern in the sandstone, which is more obvious in close ups of the units.

Rio Grande Bosque Recreation Trail
Albuquerque Open Space, NMAutumn photo from over 10 years ago, shortly after the bike trail had been resurfaced—which is why it looks almost artificial. The Surley frame on my current ride was then new, as well, though the Shimano components have seen ~35 years of faithful use.
I used this image as a subject for learning and practicing with #AffinitySuite so confess it might be slightly over processed 😆

Fajada Butte
Chaco Culture National Historic Park, NMHappy Solstice! I don't have a solstice photo, so looked through my images and found inspiration.
Fajada Butte is famous for its Sun Dagger—an astronomical petroglyph created by the ancient puebloans to calculate the solstice (and Spring & Autumn equinox).
The photo I was going to post was small, as I'd originally processed it years ago. In finding the original I instead chose this one taken with my phone out of the window of my friend's car as we left the park at sunset. I thought the motion blur would serve as a nice metaphor for the passage of time since the Sun Dagger was first used to determine the Solstice.

@ai6yr This was mine, a 1968 Campmobile™. The interior was made by Westphalia. I had it for about 25 years. Camped all around the US and western Canada. Too emotionally attached to sell it in the end, so donated the van to charity.
Here I am camped at Kirk Creek south of Big Sur. Where I saw my first sea otters.
