Just received my @frameworkcomputer 16 DIY laptop and I am absolutely in love. It's an incredible piece of tech. I have it now set up with @UniversalBlue project #fedora_bluefin and it's smooth as butter.
Getting my #gamedev environments set back up and look forward to producing more games and tutorials.
Hopefully I can get my small gamedev studio backup and running.
Been a bit since I posted but I hadn't been this excited for movement in a bit.

I don't normally judge people's system/platform of choice.... but I can't help but cringe when people whom are rightfully desperate for a #SteamOS (like) machine go for #HoloISO. I was pretty active at reporting issues, and helping other fellows out on their #GitHub on how to fix or work around certain issues but I just gave up soon after - that distro was unstable as hell and clearly unsuitable for any general desktop PCs/handhelds.
Please use #Bazzite instead, I can personally vouch for how active they are at maintaining and improving the distro - and their docs, while perhaps can be improved, are abundant. I'd much rather have a TON of (good) documentation than a cleaner but useless one, or worse, nothing at all. Some people also recommend #ChimeraOS, but it only offering #GNOME desktop instead ain't for me.
Bazzite offers plenty of variants including one suited for general desktops, machines with #NVIDIA graphics, a "Deck" version aimed towards #SteamDeck, #gaming handhelds, and HTPCs, and even a variant that offers GNOME desktop in place of #KDEPlasma. You wanna setup a stable (immutable) #Linux PC based on #Fedora, especially geared towards gaming? Give Bazzite a whirl.

The new version of my paper with Semin Yoo, "Orientable triangulable manifolds are essentially quasigroups" is now available on arXiv! You can find the preprint at https://arxiv.org/abs/2110.05660 and you can find some videos of me talking about it on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT0qXiThOxzbCO36U-iXNTQ).
In addition to new images which illustrate our constructions we also have filled a gap in the proof of the main theorem. In order to show that all orientable triangulable manifolds could be created from an \(n\)-ary quasigroup by our construction, we needed to make an appropriate \(n\)-quasigroup for each manifold. What we actually did in the original paper was give a presentation of such an algebraic structure, which is not quite enough to prove the desired result. This new version contains an explicit description of such an \(n\)-quasigroup.

More efficient updates coming your way with Bluefin and Aurora 3.4!
The main change is that those on the `latest` channel will have rechunk enabled, with this feature coming to `gts` and `stable` users after it's gotten more testing. Daily and weekly updates will be smaller!*
Goal is still to move to ztsd:chunked images - this is to help with the issue in the short term.
