  1. Half a day with an #Aranet4 #CO2 Monitor, this is from my living room.

    4pm: Opened window (2200ppm)
    5pm: Closed window (600ppm)
    8pm: Partner finished work (1500ppm)
    10:30: Re-opened window (2700ppm)

    As of 23:13 we're down to 1300

    Max occupancy was 2 adults and 2 dogs.

    Maybe I really need to get an #MVHR?

  3. Not sure how many #MVHR (or #passivehouse) nerds there are on here but I'm hopefully (finally) getting my roof done soon. At some point in the future I'd like to install an MVHR unit in the loft (1-2 years). Would it be silly to install the roof supply/exhaust terminals at the same time as the new roof? Like £200-300 for them vs the £1000+ for scaffolding to install down the line.

  6. Designed and 3D Printed this bracket to hold sata connectors in my new #Jonsbo N4 case. The straight through adaptors weren’t compatible with a model I found so came up with this. It’s not perfect as the drives don’t slide all the way back but the front does still fit on.

  9. Dabbled with enabling #IPv6 on my #cilium based #k3s cluster this morning. Seems that it /is/ possible to enable without a full cluster/node rebuild*.

    Mostly went fine, prefix, prefix mask, masq set to off. After poking a couple of the Cilium Pods new Pods got an IPv6 addr. ...but couldn't ping anything. Traffic made it out based on what Hubble was showing, but not the reverse.

    Enabled v6 masquerading, and it all started to work, yay. Suspect I need to try setting up a static route on my router for this to work.

    I have a couple pods w/ quirky networking so they got unhappy. v6 IP, dns query replying w/ AAAA but no dice as they really only have v4 connectivity.

    Back off for now but promising that it could work.

    *.spec.PodCIDR(s) are immutable on v1.Node resources, but cilium in it's default configuration doesn't get it's PodCIDR from there in the default config.

  13. Weather on Tuesday is looking like a full 24hrs+ within the -1ºc to 1ºc range. Seems perfect to get the #thermalimaging camera out and check for #heatloss on my house. But anyone got either guides or tips on doing it properly?

  16. It works! Taking mozilla/sops and #puppet #hiera and making them one! I do love hiera_eyaml but #sops is just 10x better.

    ```
    $ puppet lookup --hiera_config=spec/fixtures/hiera.yaml --modulepath=~/git/hiera-sops nested::data
    ---
    thing1:
    - one
