Es gab auch Kritk an die Gestaltung des #GDS. Panels ohne Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten aus dem Publikum, sehr frontal. Und viele Regierenden auf den Podien, teilweise sehr fragwürdige, wie eine türische oder italienische Ministerin. Neofaschismus und Rechte behinderter Menschen... hmmm nein. einfach nein.
Manch eine Veranstaltung verkam zu einer Selbstlob (von Politiker*innen) und Marketing (von Unternehmen) Veranstaltung.
Hier unten Aufnahme des Bildshirm mit Schriftdolmetschung bei einem Panel über inklusive Urbane Resilienz und Reduktion von Risiken bei Katastrophen. Microsoft durfte für sich (wie toll sie sind weil sie Behinderte in der Belegschaft haben) und AI werben. Dank AI sind wir gerettet...Mein Eindruck: auf den Podien kamen viele Leute wegen Macht- und finanziellen Interessen. Regierug xy hat mitfinaziert also wollen Minister auf die Bühne. unternehmen xy hat mitfinanziert, also dürfen sie versteckte Werbung auf der Bühne machen.

Es gab leider wenig Veranstaltungen wo es richtig um #selbstbestimmtLeben und #Selbstvertretung ging.
Bei einem Panel zum Thema, der durch die Lebenshilfe 🤷♀️ organisiert war,war immerhin möglich Fragen zu stellen, Statements abzugeben.
Das wurde reichlich genutzt. Es gab Bedarf, zu Wort zu kommen. Ich habe auch meinen Senf dazu gegeben, erklärt was für mich Selbveretretung, Selbstbestimmt leben ist. Weit weg von Heimen, Werkstätten. Mit persönlicher Assistenz. Aktiv und nicht Objekt der Politik. Direkte Aktionen gegen Barrieren.

@nouveaufrontpopulaire @Apres_fr Les adhérentes et adhérents de la #GDS tout comme celles et ceux de l’Après ont voté et validé la fusion de la GDS et de #lAprès _au sein de l’Après_. Cette fusion débute le 1er février 2025. Le temps de la mettre en œuvre dans les localités et départements, elle sera achevée courant mars à l’occasion d’une rencontre nationale (sans doute le 22 mars) que l’Après fusionnée organisera.

After yesterday's interference in the UK's political landscape by Elon M*sk, the UK should take action to distance itself from his platform. We should ask the #GDS and #JISC to begin work on shifting all UK government, education, and essential services to #OpenSource #SocialMedia platforms.

Yesterday we launched Africa's first City #DataStrategy, and today we had a great workshop led by some excellent experts from orgs such as #OpenCitiesLab, #GDS, #ODI and #eGovFoundation

Another article on #OpenSource, this time written by Richard Pope, who was one of the founding members of the UK’s #GDS. There is just so much for which governments can benefit by engaging with the open source communities that they use. Furthermore, the government contributing their work back to the public #GitHub or #GitLab repositories makes the code more secure and drives down the costs for #DigitalGovernment.

The #GDS Service Standard and design has brought trust and ease of use to many #GOVUK websites. The start page for renewing your driving licence starts well then quickly moves here.
