@RTheren Just to clarify, its hidden primary for a specific domain and their subdomains. Because the external requests for those domains are made by other dns resolvers, which get their information from our "hidden primary".
But my use-case is, if we internally have a problem with our internal #dnsserver, can't we use that hidden primary as a fallback, because it has a replicated view of our internal entries... -

We have a #DNS setup in our company with one hidden primary and one internal primary #dnsserver. These servers use external and internal views. I am just quoting our documentation here.
My question is, if our internal DNS server is not reachable for whatever reason, is there any downsides to use the hidden primary as a fallback? Or do we need to establish redundancy for DNS in some other form? #Linux #networking #SysAdmin -

Have all the mesh #VPN providers like #tailscale #zerotier #netmaker a solution where you can host the server yourself aka being not reliant on the company like #headscale? Or is this unique to tailscale? #VPN #Wireguard #meshvpn

Is there no easy maintained way to update #appimages yet? Should I just default to use flatpaks instead? I know there was an update, but #github showing it hasn't been updated for years. And the other appimageupdater I found is in alpha status? *sigh*

@waxbanks okay ill print the PDFs thanks for the feedback. It is not the first time I read about the thumb buttons being a bit far on the #zsamoonlander. I also have not the biggest hands for sure. Also I wasn't planing on getting that metal tenting kit, which is another 100 bucks at least... but yea. Does such a kit not exist for the voyager?

@waxbanks So if I mainly want one for stationary use, you would recommend to go with the #zsamoonlander instead? I have no preference for flat switches.

@robertdahlem @nitram Does the hardware you are using for #Proxmox have by chance a #supermicrocomputer bios?

I am looking for a sane/simple setup for "templating" in #Obsidian #markdown. I am not interested in javascript or whatever some tutorials are recommending. Just want to prefill #frontmatter with stuff like note title as tags... it can't be that complicated?

#appleusers don't even understand what a #walledgarden is and why they are trapped in it. On the opposite they feel attacked by criticizing #Apple devices for not being able to use the hardware with anything else but #macOS. Comparison like "cardrivers don't want to buy motorcycles and vice versa" are brought up, which led me to believe, #macbooks are not seen as a laptop device but something else instead.
