Watching Asura. This is just… awesome. So meticulously built period atmosphere.
I guess. I’ve never been to #Japan, even less to the late 70s Japan.
All the little everyday details are fascinating. I guess I’m missing half of culturally specific stuff and their deeper meaning, but there’s still plenty to wonder at.
Diggin’ the story too, ofc, such a touching everyday #melodrama. A very minimalistic one at that.

Wo-hoo! I was wondering how hard it would be to record #Roland v-#drums into #Renoise to dedicated tracks for each pad group. The answer: not hard at all.
Ofc you can record them directly to #DAW, but going via Renoise I can separate them right away for mixing. This way it’ll resemble regular drum mixing a lot. _And_ I can select different Abbey Road #drumset for every track, if I like. (And quite often I do.)
