Improvement: Paketti Overdub 01...12 (and all modulations of it) now correctly set Pattern Sync On - so the only thing you need to do is set "Create New Instrument on Each Take" to Off. Also working on publishing a video about this Overdub feature since it is both important and interesting.

Fix: Step Mute no longer stops Paketti from loading. If you grabbed Step Mute right when it landed and Paketti then went completely dead on you, nothing loading at all, on Renoise 3.5.2 and 3.5.4, Windows and Linux, that was this. Update and you are fine. No changes to how Step Mute itself works.

Gear acquisition syndrome so severe that as I was installing and setting up plugins I didn't notice that they all sounded horribly distorted due to audio settings. I just thought they had lousy init patches or that I was playing them wrong.

Feature: Paketti Step Mute. I came across this by accident, while having Groovebox8120 open, and inputting actual melodic notes (instead of C-4 to trigger a drumsound). I was using a midi controller which was showing the steps, i.e. notes would show as highlighted buttons. i pressed the buttons to unhighlight them, and realized, no, wait, this is a stepsequencer for notes, for muting and unmuting them.

I just realized the way I typed this while thinking and visualizing within tracker "Each song will either be four rows per beat at speed 6 or six rows per beat at speed 4"
I know CMOS to a degree for writing so I'm very active with my style while doing so, but I somewhat unconsciously chose to write 6 and six and 4 and four as code variables vs numbers in a sentence. I just through it was interesting. I'm also a 💩 typist. All I know are #renoise and #impulsetracker #schismtracker shortcuts

Wow, #Renoise 3.4.3 and #CachyOS seem to really not get along on my hardware.
