@HopelessDemigod hihi! I'm trying to get into LF is probably a better way to put it, but I reverse engineered a radio navigation receiver (see my #datatrak posts) and wanted to retune it to the ham band and build a transmitter. Problem is I'd need two to prove the concept and three to make it work.

You deal with hopelessness by proving it to yourself. You prove to yourself that it's not hopeless.
You can't fight with your confidence and if you're feeling hopeless that's probably on short supply anyway. So you don't even go there. You prove to yourself that it's not hopeless by taking action.
You take the power you have and you use it to move toward some goal. While you do that you pay attention to your thoughts and your emotions. Both of those will sidetrack you if you're not focused on them.
By proving to yourself that there is hope, no matter how small, it allows you to bring your confidence with you and eventually overcome it all together.
If the fear crops in there, rationalize it to a point where it's manageable. You're not going to be able to override it entirely, but you have to work with it enough that it doesn't stop you.
That's your strategy for hopelessness. I hope it helps.
