#misogynist — Public Fediverse posts

There is a portion of the #electorate who are profoundly selfish. They don't care about #foreignrelations, #socialprograms (except the ones they take advantage of), #immigrants (even if they are one), #schools, the #environment, #civilrights (except their own), #corruption, or anything that, when looked at simplistically and without #criticalthinking, doesn't affect them. They only care about the #economy, and only if it is making their life hard. That is why you see the economy as the number one issue in poll after poll. These #voters will support #Democrats in this election or stay home. Then, as soon as Democrats have fixed the economy, as they always do, these voters will commence dancing to #Republican dog whistles and vote for the #racist #misogynist #corporatists again.
