The stupidest update ever on my Roku TV is that it doesn't let me use the app to access my digital antenna, notable for not requiring internet, without a direct internet connection. It's shit like this that makes me glad I also have an non-smart HDTV I can use when my smart TV is making really dumb decisions so I can watch #NASCAR O'Reilly racing (weather permitting) later and the #indy500 tomorrow.

I was listening to This Mortal Coil (Happy #Goth Day!) and my music service thought I'd be into Bat for Lashes and I said "Sure, what the hell, I've always meant to list" and her second album is really, really good. I'm definitely into it.

I lament the gradual loss of the late night talk show format although I am absolutely a part of the issue because I haven't enjoyed any of the late night talk shows since Craig Ferguson went off air. There was just a complete lack of gay robot skeleton sidekicks on the shows after that.

It is pretty miserable outside today. Damp, cool, sunless. Never a good thing when I start the day at an enthusiasm level of 0, but gonna try to work through it by watching a bunch of movies and TV shows that will make me happier.

I do still remember how hyped up Kyle was as a young driver and how he managed to live up to it. His first Truck starts as a 16 year old in 2001, his season in ASA in 2002, his first ARCA and Busch starts in 2003 in partnership between Hendrick and Nemco. I watched it all with great interest cause you could tell how naturally talented he was.

Watched Dirty Harry which is a very well made movie that has a very gross moral code at numerous points. The guy who plays Scorpio, who'd later go on to give a great performance in Hellraiser, is great and I'm glad they made Harry's violation of Constitutional rights the reason a serial killer gets back out on the street, but it does ya know, glorify Harry's actions.

Not going to pretend like I ever liked Kyle Busch cause that'd be a lie, but I respected the sheer amount of talent he had behind the wheel of a racecar a great deal. He was one of the best of his era and easily the best to ever do it in O'Reilly's and Trucks. That's terrible.

Dedicating today to watching some of the TV series I've collected on my computer over time. Watched Terror in Resonance which was a random show I found on a listicle of 1 season anime, and revisiting the first season of Slasher for the first time in like a decade, remember almost nothing.
