Just paid for my #Indy500 tickets for next year's race. Seated in Southeast Vista, section 28-32, row W, seat 16.
Also ordered and confirmed tickets for Carb Day on Friday and Legends Day on Saturday. So I basically will be living at the track for three days, with nights either at my AirBNB room or shoving down the city's finest Napoli pizza.
I'd post pics of the tix but they are being sent USPS.

The Hauger signing makes sense to me. Even without Andretti he brings a bit of funding with him, he had some really bright spots in really shitty equipment this year as a rookie and he was great in Indy NXT. He's the only rookie of the 3 this year I felt actually could have the juice to be a series regular for a multiple years going forward.
Plus, it looks like Santino is out of a ride because the other Foyt seat requires a lot more funding than he has typically had to bring, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving shitheel of a person.

The DOS version of my Indy 500 (1989) launcher is now available. So, the TRACK in Indy 500 (1989) is a 3D object with real geometry. The cars are precomputed angles used like sprites. More than 300 of them selected by the calculated angle to the player. That was still cheaper than drawing 33 cars. #simracing #retrogaming #indy500
