I've uploaded a new result file in #ProteoBench from @EuBIC_MS
The new results shows how #PAPPSO i2MassChroQ performs compared to other software on the same dataset.
This time, DDA quantification was made without match between run. We can see more features than using MaxQuant+Andromeda with match between run. incredible.

A new version of the #PAPPSO tool for DDA quantitative proteomics i2MassChroQ (http://pappso.inrae.fr/bioinfo/i2masschroq/) is available.
The publication is available here https://hal.science/hal-04645948 . It has a full open source stack for the TimsTOF binary data (no vendor's DLL).We are currently working to integrate SAGE identification results.

Yet another benchmark in #proteomics .
I was at #eubic2024 to present a poster comparing MaxQuant, MS-Fragger and i2MassChroQ on DDA TimsTOF PASEF data.
A good Match Between Run allows a very good data completeness at the feature level, more quantified proteins without using missing value imputations.

@orangelantern I agree. Especially the myriad of concentration checks slows the game down a lot.
An enemy caster holding concentration? Barrage it with attacks, e.g. Magic Missile or Animate Objects, one of the rolls will fail.
For your own character, you need con-proficiency and/or warcaster, otherwise you are fucked.I much prefer the sustain system in Pathfinder2e, it is limited to fewer spells and needs an action (out of three) to keep this spell going, often giving features like attacking with a summon or changing the placement.

It would be very satisfying to bring home 3 severely damaged fighters/bombers from a wing of 20...

It's frustrating. I think I _could_ run it as a setting with a tighter mythology with some moderate amounts of effort. And the mythology doesn't even have to be fairly consistent - see #CallOfCthulhu for how to do this right, despite the many internal contradictions of the #CthulhuMythos .
But as written, the setting of Numenera is all style but too little substance. Which is disappointing. I _loved_ Monte Cook's #Ptolus setting, so I know that he can do better!
