Für einen eben getroffenen NPC sollen wir ein paar zu lang ausgeliehene Bücher zurück organisieren.
An einer Adresse ein etwas heruntergekommenes Herrenhaus, Tor verschlossen, doch hinten werkelt ein Gärtner. Als ich ihn anspreche fragt er, ob wir denn einen Termin hätten - ich sage nein, aber ob sich die Herrin des Hauses nicht für die Zukunft interessieren würde? Wir hätten eine berühmte Wahrsagerin dabei!

Wir werden also herein gelassen und machen eine Séance.
Unserere Zauberin, Meister des Okkulten, versucht es einfach mal - und würfelt einen Fehlschlag. Heldenpunkt: 20!
Der verstorbene Ehemann wird gechannelt, verrät den Ort wichtiger Papiere, die Dynastie ist gerettet, wir kriegen 10% Rabatt für immer - und das Buch zurück!

@orangelantern I agree. Especially the myriad of concentration checks slows the game down a lot.
An enemy caster holding concentration? Barrage it with attacks, e.g. Magic Missile or Animate Objects, one of the rolls will fail.
For your own character, you need con-proficiency and/or warcaster, otherwise you are fucked.

I much prefer the sustain system in Pathfinder2e, it is limited to fewer spells and needs an action (out of three) to keep this spell going, often giving features like attacking with a summon or changing the placement.

GM tip: When planning elements of a sandbox adventure or just improvising something on the fly that your players decided to pursue and you hadn't planned for, give it the Iron Chef treatment. In other words, throw in some predictable elements of dungeons, traps, NPCs, etc. and then one thing, one "secret ingredient" that is totally random and off the beaten path. Don't worry about how it all goes together; that's the players' job. Just go where they lead.

Just bought the hard copy or the #Pathfinde2e core rulebook.. I guess I am looking for a new group of players? To run a #ttrpg game of #pf2e. Preferably in person in the Area around #Brokstedt. Online is always an alternative option. #pnpde

Good Morning everyone, and a good morning it is.

Paizo and other large publishers banding together to announce their own open creative license, fittingly named the ORC, is a good thing to rise from the #OGL debacle.

Also, I thought it was interesting, that in the accompanying blog post, #Paizo state that they no longer included the #OGL in their #Pathfinde2e products because they were using #WotC expressions, but to allow others to use theirs. That’s cool.

So, Pathfinder setting canonically has printing presses, at least in some areas of the world

Now I wonder - is it theoretically possible to invent a printing press for scrolls, why/why not and would it matter much?
