She told there is a lot of defiant dialog about rejecting Patriarchy that could be used, and that she would very much like to see the catalytic event that caused lashunta women to reject Patriarchy, to rise up, and to subjugate the men who had previously abused them. I got the impression she was looking for a revolution.
And yet here's the problem: she assumed lashunta women were oppressed like their human counterparts. It never occurred to her Lashunta Society might have evolved organically as a matriarchy, and there never was such a revolution. If anything, lashunta have the opposite problem: males have historically suffered under oppression.
The Damaya Matriarchy is the lashunta social norm. All other subgroups have had to endure their privilege.
