In that case sshd on the jumphost logs that it cannot resolve the target host. Checking on the host shows that it can correctly resolve that hostname and even successfully connect to it.
I guess somewhere between the container and the container host, some hostname resolutions seem to fail causing SSH jumping to fail.

My mother crossed over today at 9am. Surrounded by loved ones, she had slipped into a coma last night and this morning in between a handful of minutes between checking while the house was rousing, my brother found her. She will be cremated and interred at Arlington National Cemetery. #sad #loss #today #mercy #NoMoreSuffering
