It's fkn down again. A 27 hr breath of air is now a giant, disconnected turd. The outage map says "equipment failure." I'm here to tell ya I got a piece of equipment right here that fails less than this and I'm almost 50. Just sayin'.
My wife tells me they gave us a giant $2.50 price break for the inconvenience. Hon, let's go to Chicago!

1 - Looking back, there are myriad skills that I didn't take the time to learn from my parents. It honestly sucks. My dad was in the HVAC trade. He was a learn-it-yourself type because he did the same. That's not to say he wouldn't give advise or lend a hand. Hindsight I really should have been with him or over his shoulder asking questions and getting my hands dirty.
With mom, it was practical skills. Home Ec type stuff (an outdated term, but best in this context).

My cousin found a gem of a concert tour. #Trivium and #bulletformyvalentine. Trivium is my gateway band into heavier metal genres. Incredible songwriting and musicianship. Their latest drummer, Alex Bent, plays like he has 5 arms and 8 legs. I was able to see them open for Lamb of God and Megadeth a couple years ago. This will be my firat timw seeing BfmV. Love this band. Can't wait for this one!
They have #AugustBurnsRed and #bleedfromwithin opening the show.🤘🤘🤘I WANNA ROCK !

Update: Billy Squier was wrong. Not everyone wants me. Got a call from the bank to which I applied. Hard pass. I blame that dumb, out-of-date assessment test they used.
In other news, my laid back approach to management is gonna be tested today. We'll see how this goes. I hate conflict. I am a peacemaker by heart. Alas, sometimes the rooster needs to lay down the law in the coop.
