The ride-on mower is on the fritz again. Who ever thought it would be a good idea to put radio buttons on outdoor power equipment is daft. Water got in and soaked the machine’s iXian brain. I uncovered it and tried to light it off. Nothing happened. No evidence of it trying to post. No contactors closing, no display, no BlueTooth chat. Booked in for service.

Bad news: Two hole saw kits and neither is complete enough to get the job done.
Good news: Menard’s has premium hole saw stuff.
Bad news: Despite a lot of drills, apparently none that are cordless AND accept 1/2 inch bits.
Good news x2:
1. Can’t do the job that I didn’t want to do.
2. I have an excuse to buy yet another Ryobi thing. Weee! -
I've been informed by #Ryobi that there is a #recall for a possibly defective capacitor that "might overheat and burst" on our Ryobi 2300psi #pressure #washer.
I've just done the recall verification. Ryobi is shipping US a replacement capacitor to install ourselves.
I can't see any possible way that this could go badly with some Ryobi pressure washer owners. Not everyone knows how to work safely or correctly on electrical equipment.

So I've mostly been using #Ryobi tools and they've been OK but obviously light duty. Couple have handles that are already wearing out and I've killed a couple batteries.
I've got one buddy who went red (#Milwaukee), one who went yellow (#DeWalt) and one who went blue (#Makita). Of course.
I'm inclined to go yellow or red - they seem to be about on par and the Packout system seems like the clear winner of everything.
