The "weasel word" is "associate" member. It will still be nearly impossible to get funding from #horizon for a British led project.

We have also crashed out of #euratom which should make for a few interesting patent wars

How #brexit works out in things that hoi polloi have never heard of - doesn't change voting but sure has impoverished most of our technology/science companies. I have spent about £12k i re-registering trademarks - £10k on the now redundant UKCA

Her face spoke for all of us - while he spoke undiluted bigotry. Mary Lou shouldn't run as many candidates, so Unionism has a chance & doesn't upset community relations.

While the #DUP & #UUP were controlling this place - did they worry about cross community relations???

They deliberately fail to either make agreements with places like #albania for safe return - or to resource properly the destruction of the criminal gangs - because the one hope #toriesOut have to win support in the #nextGE is to still see lots of poeple coming on our beaches despite them being nasty to migrants........

  5. @adrianfry @therightarticle #Labour is and has been a #neoliberal party, not a #socialist party for several decades. They have little understanding of #economics. They have no story to sell, no prophetic voice, no true leadership. Following the whims of #psephology directs us to lowest common-denominator. UK is set on a course of self-destruction with no Voice in the wilderness!

"There is an observation in anti-colonial thought, articulated by Fanon and others, that the most insidious move available to a metropolitan solidarity movement is to organize itself around the question of how the colonial society can feel better about itself."

I feel something in common with all of the people who had been hoping that the adults in the world would deal with inhuman behavior by nation states. But I guess it is someone else's job? I mean, what kind of excuse can there be? #genocide #vampires

Thames water paid £1.4 Billion in dividends to shareholders, while lobbying for permission to dump raw sewage into rivers while applying for a bailout from the government and while putting bills up.

I think that this may be proof that
    a) MMT is right and
    b) those government know it.

And it implicitly suggests that they don't want us to join the dots to realise we could use money creation powers for good and not just killing people and wreaking bullysome havoc on the world.
