This weekend’s projects:
1. Replace the PSU in the #Flashforge #Adventurer5M. The one it comes with has the fan going at all times, which is annoying. Meanwell makes a drop-in equivalent that… doesn’t. Unfortunately they tripled in price at some point.
2. Modify the Sunlu S2 dryer to hopefully be less noisy and not require the lid be propped open.
3. Install the #Microswiss Flowtech hotend on the #SovolSV08, if it shows up. The stock hotend is just ridiculous. A bunch of screws and thermal paste any time you want to change the nozzle? Might as well make me hot-tighten it, which I still have never done successfully. I’d rather have an E3D Revo solution rather than another standard but whatever. -
Ok...so my first spool of PETG comes in tomorrow. I have been printing for a whole 2 weeks.

The eastern half of the U.S. is drying out rapidly with small areas of improvement in parts of the West and Florida. Drought (D1-D4) covers 40.81% of the contiguous U.S., a jump of 4.91 points from last week as flash drought develops in the parts of the Midwest.

Following some relief over the winter, flash drought conditions have shown up in Oklahoma as well as Kansas. The majority of Oklahoma, especially in northern areas of the state, has generally received below-normal amounts of precipitation over the past three months. This week’s USDA crop progress report rated Oklahoma’s soil moisture condition as 46% short to very short.

Drought continued to expand across the lower Midwest and Southeast this week on the US #DroughtMonitor, while easing in the South and Pacific Northwest. The amount of the continental US in #drought (D1-D4) changed little from 37.45% last week to 37.44% this week. Note the #flashdrought in the Southeast in shades of orange on the 8-week change map.

why do i keep getting this error:
No EEPROM/flash device found.
Note: flashrom can never write if the flash chip isn't found automatically.I swear I've connected everything properly and even supplied the router with power, as well as supplying the #CH341A programmer with ample voltage, and yet even after switching connectors, it won't work with me.
Either I need a reboot, a universal programmer, a better probe, or I need to read the manual more.
this already reminds me of my first days with #voidlinux.
