This weekend’s projects:
1. Replace the PSU in the #Flashforge #Adventurer5M. The one it comes with has the fan going at all times, which is annoying. Meanwell makes a drop-in equivalent that… doesn’t. Unfortunately they tripled in price at some point.
2. Modify the Sunlu S2 dryer to hopefully be less noisy and not require the lid be propped open.
3. Install the #Microswiss Flowtech hotend on the #SovolSV08, if it shows up. The stock hotend is just ridiculous. A bunch of screws and thermal paste any time you want to change the nozzle? Might as well make me hot-tighten it, which I still have never done successfully. I’d rather have an E3D Revo solution rather than another standard but whatever. -
It's very yellow.

Printed the ender 3 12mm probe bracket and slicer cut and printed just the mounting hole plate thickness for a spacer. This gave it enough room to clear the corner of the left Y wheel carriage. Full 220x220 print bed.
I also printed a strain relief so there's something besides the ptfe tube to hold the heater block wires.

Direct drive upgrades were installed.
A slow 15 minutes PLA+ cube and a very slow 58 minute TPU cube.
It's actually only the second thing I've printed in TPU, first was a USB-C dust plug with just a slowed down PETG or PLA profile and it was good enough and has been in use daily for.. 2 years! I do not recommend TPU on a bowden but it's doable.
It's Overture TPU which is not that soft.
The Micro Swiss NG works good. I'll be printing more TPU now.

Looking at my reassembled Ender 5 Plus I realised that I never got around to submitting a PR with my configuration to the Marlin configuration project. With a gap in contracts looming I guess I’ll have time next month 😀 #3DPrinting #Ender5Plus #BigTreeTech #Microswiss
