  1. This is a rare time when you actually have connection to the news. @q was one of my students in India. Besides being one of the most brilliant people I have ever met, Q is also one of the kindest and most joyful. A rare combination in this day and age. Scotland and @ScottishGreens are very lucky to have them as a new Member of the Scottish Parliament. Congrats, Q!

  2. Time for ! Though I have not had much time since becoming a parent, I am looking forward to restarting and this year. My latest project has been traveller's . They are my design and I've enjoyed trying to improve them with each attempt.

I've attached a link below a post links to more projects I've posted here over the years!

  3. Finally! A new project! We discovered traveller’s notebooks this year. Love the concept but wanted to have one that was AND not made of plastic. I also wanted to make my own inserts. These are prototypes to see if the concept could work. I am so proud of these! I learned a great deal and am planning on making a larger one for A5 notebooks.

  4. On a more direct note, this post reminds me a video from the YouTube channel LangFocus discussing how there are these weird coincidental features shared between and languages. I think his conclusion is that they are probably coincidences but it is a weird series of similarities.

He might have some videos that explore what you are thinking about here.

  5. I listened to this yesterday. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Part of is was the great performance of the narrator David Silbey but it is primarily because of the fantastic writing of Sophie Elmhirst. I feel like this story would make a great small-scale film.
