  1. @cks If the characters/sequences you are referring to are always paired delimiters then you can set `electric-pair-pairs` as a buffer-local variable. On the other hand, if they are sometimes delimiters and sometimes other things like operators you have more work ahead of you.

I did something similar for angle brackets in C++:

I still need to open an #Emacs bug report for this.

  2. @witchgirls Yes please. And something I can connect to from #Emacs please!

  3. I've been trying to use #org-mode and #emacs-jupyter as a replacement for Jupyter notebooks in a #Bioinformatics course I'm teaching. After having to manually force org-mode to update inline images a handful of times I did this in anger: github.com/pjones/org-inline-i

  4. It's official, I'm attending the EuBIC-MS winter school in January. During the education day my team will will be presenting courses on #proteomics and mass spectrometry using #OpenMS in Python. There's still time to sign up: eubic-ms.org/events/2026-winte

  5. Hey everyone!

My wife and I just moved from the US to Germany and my wife is looking for work. She's a certified Technical Project Manager with decades of experience in project/product management as well as Chief of Staff related roles. In her last job she created a PMO for a city government.

She's looking for remote work in Europe or the US East Coast, or on-site work near Tübingen, Germany.

    Thanks and boosts are appreciated!

  6. Better late than never after moving servers from emacs.ch:
