exceptional workers i've met that have to work 2+ jobs to feed/house themselves in the #BayArea:
- wildly popular illustrator/graphic novelist, lecturer at #SFAI
- lifetime labor organizer, professor at #SFSU
- senior animator at #Pixar, animation industry mentor

meanwhile the workers i've met at #Blackrock, #Raytheon, #Meta, #a16z, etc. truly believe their work is important & that anyone can make a six- or seven-figure salary if they work hard enough. LOL
