People who regularly visit a person's always had to scroll through the same pinned posts first. Every time,
I prefer the current approach, where you see one pinned post and can see the other ones if you want to.
That maybe the tiny little button should be more prominently visible, I can understand.

LoRa seems to be the most popular thing right now. @slowfallinward is more well-versed in that sort of stuff than I am.
There seem to be many options, but what's good for our purposes of organizing resistance?
The unfortunate thing here is that the ham radio bands all prohibit encryption. In order to use encryption, you'll need to use one of the unlicensed bands. LoRa, Meshtastic, Wi-Fi, the cellular network, and so on are in those bands. Terms like "US915" would be a good starting point.
Do you have any pointers or tips for beginners like myself?
For the purposes of clandestine communications, ham radio isn't the best route to go. However, it'll be good for long-distance information relaying and coordinating a disaster response with people from all over.

As a professional leader and planner of war, I both share this frustration and understand the nuance. IT IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE (Intelligence officer here, who's had eyes on the planning) that #AgolfShitler has been conducting this with the EXPLICIT AIM OF provoking reciprocal violence that would give him ammunition to tell my General Officer peers that now he's Constitutionally justified in invoking the Insurrection Act.
On the OTHER hand, I also know that HE'S PLANNING ON DOING IT ANYHOW, even if he just has to pull a justification wholly out of his ass. I currently assess it as HIGHLY PROBABLE that there is no longer a path out of this that does not involve large-scale violence--by THE FASCISTS' choice, even if we were to choose NOT TO. It may take all sides to choose peace...but it only takes ONE side to choose war.
And they have chosen it, long ago. I've been warning people for a decade now that we got here because the American #AltWhite had watched FOR HALF A CENTURY as the (racist, misogynist, heteronormative) America they loved faded away NO MATTER WHICH party was in power. And rather than doing the hard work of trying to come up with a more saleable platform--OR EVEN A MORE EFFECTIVE PITCH FOR THE ONE THEY HAD--they simply gave up on democracy, and started learning from cultures that had successfully overthrown it, how to blow it up from the inside.
What's critical for us to understand is that BOTH THESE THINGS CAN BE TRUE AT ONCE. It's a trap AND the fascists are gonna use it even if they have to spring it THEMSELVES, like a Claymore. So what I take from this is that governors, mayors, and private organization leaders need to be planning & organizing NOW, BEFORE they choose to fight fire with fire, so that WHEN Chancellor Shitler invokes the Insurrection Act (whether we act first or he does), IT'S HIM who's walking into the trap, not us.
