Google TV gave me an ad for Citadel, another over-the-top spy thriller, this one from Amazon.
I added it to my Stremio and just finished the first episode..😮💨
You know the criticism of Netflix shows being overly explanatory and repetitive? Well, this episode is almost entirely that.
Definitely the most clear example of this apparent phenomenon I've seen in a while, from start to literal end.
Glad I didn't pay to see this.

I've realized that I should restart Babylon Berlin because I've completely lost track of all the many pieces leading up to Season 4.
It was always a struggle for me to understand everything that was happening so having years between watching seasons 3 and 4 had me lost watching S4:E1.

Last night I rewatched the final scene of Peaky Blinders, Season 5, Episode 6 and I still think it's a perfect place to end the series.
I've read that many enjoyed Season 6 (I've read nothing about the movie) but I've been burned by series, so I'm reluctant to watch any more.
I *knew* the bridge scene was the perfect ending for Killing Eve but I doubted myself and was casually, cruelly, betrayed.
There have been others.

I'd only watched the first 2 episodes of Season 6 of Black Mirror before the strikes and my cancellation of Netflix.
I've finished the season this week and along with Joan is Awful, Beyond the Sea is excellent, and Mazey Day and Demon 79 are very good.
Every season since 3 has one episode I really don't like (or hate). Loch Henry is one of the worst of the series.

I broke down and paid for a 15 day trial of Real Debrid (about $4) and that seems to be the piece that was missing for a very smooth, though not literally instant (as claimed) streaming experience.
After one night watching a couple of shows with no problems that either loaded very slowly (Black Doves) or weren't really watchable due to constant buffering (Dark Winds), I think I have a solid combo of tools running for smooth sailing on the high seas 🏴☠️

I had a lot of trouble with buffering yesterday and tonight but finally finished watching The Housemaid.
It was very enjoyable trash and although the staircase clue was obvious, I didn't guess the twist. Or the final twist. Or the final, final twist which was satisfying and the opening to the franchise.

Changing my VPN location in my iPhone finally got The Housemaid to synch correctly on my tv.
I got less than an hour in before I crashed so I'll finish it today.
So much of it seems extremely familiar, beyond what was in the trailer, it's giving me a hint of Déjà vu.
And is that Chekhov's staircase in the opening scene?

I learned about Stremio and Torrentio yesterday and, with a little fiddling, got them installed and running on my iPhone using the required Safari browser, and then got Stremio installed on my Sony GoogleTV and all addons, including Torrentio, are running on my tv.
I'm having major sound synching issues, but was able to pick up Babylon Berlin last night and the subtitles match well enough to not matter.
I'm pissed at Rath, fucking piece of shit.

Po testach potwierdzam to co napisałem wczoraj. Wygląda na to, że za problemy ze #Stremio był odpowiedzialny dodatek #Torrentio. Naprawa polegała na przejściu na alternatywę w postaci #Comet. Wyprzedzam pytanie - tak, Comet działa praktycznie tak samo i też współpracuje z #RealDebrid, czyli można wkleić swój klucz #API.

Ostatnio miałem (a raczej głównie moja żona) problem ze #Stremio i myślałem, że to wina #RealDebrid. Zacząłem nawet już rozważać zakup #AirVPN, żeby obejść konieczność używania RD. Finał jest taki, że zbadałem sprawę i podobno to samo #Torrentio było problemem i zaliczało downtime'y. Przez najbliższe dni potestuję alternatywy i dam znać.

In the field shown in the screenshot. This set up the torrent searcher prioritizing (together with English) Danish and Spanish language (you can change afterwards). I did the set up without the vpn, but i use it with the vpn active. -
