Hello Mastadon! I’ve been slack on social media, but I’ve been making stuff so it’s not all bad. My most recent creation - little fairy table. The table legs are wine corks. The bowl for the mushroom is half of the cover for old clock weights. The mushrooms are clay. The candle is a bit of hot glue stick - found that method on a dollhouse board a long time ago. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and having a great 2023!

I make bottlecap fairy gardens, and they’ve always sold really well. But a couple years back I decided I wanted a cuter way to display them. So I got this acrylic stand and mushroomed it up.
And suddenly, no one bought them anymore.
It turned out, people thought it was a set. Like they had to buy all of them. I tried various signs and such, but nothing worked. So I had to retire my adorable mushroom stand.

Über Imginn mit dem Downlaod-Button klappt es nicht, aber wenn man auf dem Video mit der rechten Maustaste das Kontextmenü aufruft, dann kappt es mit "Ziel speichern unter..."
Im Mediaplayer/VLC o.ä. klappt es dann problemlos.Nach der Musik kommt im Video eine interessante Unterhaltung über den astrologischen Epochenwandel mit aktuellem Bezug zu den aktuellen Themen (Stichwort: "fossil").

Being forced to remove your mask, no matter if it's "momentarily", is a risk that nobody should have to take.

My #AntiMask relative got on another kick now that #N95 #masks are recommended for #wildfire #smoke. While trying to demonstrate how evil #COVID mask #mandates are, he accidentally showed me a video explaining what I've told him all along: #ClothMasks are effective at reducing COVID #transmission because the COVID #virus requires the protection of a saliva droplet to be effectively transmitted. Cloth masks catch most of these droplets. That left him speechless.
