"Halfway up The Nose of El Capitan is one of the wildest pendulums in existence"--it's called the King Swing! I shot this way back in 2015 with my Sony a6000 (a CMOS sensor camera) and a 70-200mm lens for a 35mm equivalent of 300mm. Still, it's cropped waaay in. The climber's goal is seen in the fourth frame, grabbing onto a crack in the rock face so they may continue their climb up The Nose and to the top.

Mirror Lake Boulder
This boulder sits in Mirror Lake underneath the towering walls of Half Dome in Yosemite Valley. The lake is slowly becoming a meadow as the sediment from the surrounding mountains flows down and fills the lake.
