It seems that I've spent the last two hours researching the administrative history of #Hungary (in order to be able to maybe create the Hungarian #Steurenthaler branch during #January2026ConnectAThon) and how to add the results to #Wikidata (in order to be able to have the locations generated by the #WikiTree browser extension #WikiTreeBEE then). At least, I've found a Hungarian Wikidata user and three German gazetteers from 1780 until 1845 in the process (see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Hungary_resources#Gazetteers_and_Directories ) #Nerdkram

Das mit der App hat Charme und auch das Zooming gefällt mir bei Geneanet. Ansonsten finde ich die Bedienung etwas unhandlich. #CompGen hat dafür keine kommerziellen Interessen. Das Interface zum Indexieren ist echt in Ordnung, wenn man die Tastaturkürzel kennt, die Browser Extension #WikiTreeBEE optimiert da noch ein wenig mehr). Wenn man eh den ganzen Friedhof ablichtet, finde ich den Transfer als Zip-Datei nicht schlimm. Bei fremden Friedhöfen lasse ich andere indexieren.

- managed to help out @magnusmanske with something I picked up at @wikidata working on and with the Wikidata Places feature in #WikiTreeBEE
- my #Mastodon bot accounts keep posting and are also starting to have interactions
