Gotthard #Steurenthaler, whose profile I created during #July2023ConnectAThon, finally received a decent biography. He was married for nine years and didn't have any children, when he passed away from ascites in a field hospital in #Maubeuge during #WorldWar1. His military records claim that he also spent some time in horse field hospital, which I wasn't really aware that existed back then.
