We had another big turnout for the national protest this last Saturday! The wind was crazy but the rain held off until we were done. We had about the same amount of people was last time, close to 300. Not bad for a deep red state. There were so many honks of approval from drivers.

Another thing I need to mention about yesterday's protest in Wheeling, WV. At one point, a funeral procession rolled through with about a dozen cars. Everybody went completely silent. The bullhorns and the chanting stopped. Signs were lowered. Ball caps were removed. We shared a moment of silence, all without a single order to do so. It was a beautiful moment seeing so much dignity and respect coming from a group of people.

We found a video someone posted about the protest we went to yesterday! Of course our local red news stations didn't have much or anything to say about it but wow! I didn't realize how many folks showed up! The wrap around the intersection was a lot more than I could see.

I'm excited to share some photos from my first protest. Wheeling, WV was our closest location. There were estimates of around 300 people protesting there. Not bad for a deep red state. I wish I took more photos, but I had a great time and met a lot of good people.
