Her death was completely unnecessary, but it happened anyway because these and other #garbage #Republicans in Texas decided to push a political agenda that says that women's lives don't matter.

It's almost as if Erc Adams is angling for a possible pardon from #WeirdDonOLD, like that Democratic Illinois governor convicted of trying to profit from his office. Corrupt politicians tend to like #Trump.

They do not see him as a man that they grudgingly support because of belief in some conservative policy. They LIKE this side of his disgusting personality. You don’t laugh at a known sexual assaulter saying “I love women” unless you condone — or even vicariously enjoy — sexual assault. I am not surprised that there are some among my fellow citizens who are like that. But to see so MANY, that is truly dispiriting. How did we get here?

Anyone else notice this? At the Latrobe rally that #WeirdDonOLD opened with a 12-minute speech about Arnold Palmer, his audience was quiet and low-energy throughout the boring story. The first time they react audibly is when #Trump says “I love women.” The crowd wakes up from its slumber and starts to laugh. As he repeats that statement for effect, they come back to life fully.
This crowd knows about Trump’s sexual habits. They know his history of infidelity and poor treatment of women.

How did we get here? The actual economic platform of #WeirdGOP is:
- make us all pay 10-20% extra for imported goods (i.e. food, energy, clothing, cars, electronics)
- use that money to give huge tax cuts to billionaire #oligarchsThe oligarchs fund this platform because they get billions in benefits for a few millions in political donations to #Trump. But millions of Americans who stand to lose still vote for #WeirdDonOLD. Hatred is a potent drug.

@bronakins So there are millions of Americans who think #WeirdDonOLD will not concede the race if he loses, and they WANT to vote for him because that's what they want for America. Millions who want to destroy democracy with their vote.
#Trump is not the disease, he is a very visible, stinking symptom of the deep disease affecting our polity.
I hope #KamalaHarris wins by a huge margin, because that's the only peaceful way out.

Not even a mention of the fact that his companies rely on federal contracts and federal contractors are prohibited from contributing to federal election campaigns. The article has about 1,800 words; 4 journalists got the byline, including one who covers campaign finance, but they just left it out.

Today #Barack #Obama decided to remind me exactly why I first got excited about #USPolitics as a recently arrived #immigrant. A great speech is not just about moving the audience to applause, but it is about reaching out to an audience way beyond the arena. I just watched this entire speech, one of his finest ever. He takes #WeirdDonOLD to task and explains to #Republicans why they should not, cannot in good conscience, support #Trump.

@dramypsyd To be fair to him, DeSantis being governor isn't the worst case scenario for the state of Florida. It can definitely get worse if they keep voting for self-centered #Republican assholes like Rick Scott, Matt Gaetz, #WeirdDonOLD and DeSantis who always care most about how it looks for them, no matter how much their fellow human beings might be suffering.

#SocialSecurity and #Medicare are on the ballot in the #2024Election. #WeirdDonOLD wants this guy to be in his administration. Someone who openly fantasizes about shutting down these “entitlement” programs. I hope #seniors are paying attention and #vote accordingly.

I don’t know if I should believe this. According to this #DailyShow clip, the entire Dominion Voting Systems story that Sidney Powell made up, that #FoxNews then ran with and Colludiani and #WeirdDonOLD parroted, that whole thing started with a woman who considers herself a ghost and she got her info from “the wind.” #FauxNews didn’t bother to fact check the story, they didn’t even contact her, but they just put it on air.
