Cuidao. Perry persiste y no deja de trabajárselo con distintos sonidos, videos y promos. Mucho más que otras, otres y, sobre todo, otros, que están en un momento si no de peak al menos sí dulce o cómodo.
Watch está suficientemente bien para que ocurra algo, algo mejor que en los últimos años. A destacar: la voz y la melodía están hechas ad hoc con muy buen tino para que penetre (no homo) y la onda dosmilera (esa fuerza cercana al pop-rock) definitivamente está siempre ahí esperando porque hay un público que la acoge en sus pechos en cualquier momento porque siempre tiene hambre.
Aparte, Perry viene de una travesía por el desierto (en términos de una superestrella, obvio) de la que, repito, no dejó de intentar dejar atrás con música y -exitosas- giras, sin recrearse en la ausencia de números gordos en listas ni señalar a nadie por su bajón ni polemizar torticeramente en medios (a Bajo Ulloa no le gusta esto). Como una mujer madura, insistió desde lo musical para revertir su situación en lo posible.
Ya sabemos que un renacimiento artístico es lo que pone más cachondo al público junto con un desnoclamiento del Olimpo a cualquier autopista perdida de su artista favorita. El público...
Podemos esperar una nueva subida para Perry. Y además, si es consecuente con los dos últimos sencillos, merecida. Es difícil que a un nuevo peak pero sí a una era dulce o al menos acomodada (a un nivel de superstar).
