I’m getting to know my new Voigtländer 27mm f/2 pancake lens with the Fujifilm X-T5.
Took a little walkaround … of course, I have to start with Lola, ’cause that’s what the public wants! : )
It’s a wonderful lens; for the time being, it’s going to live on the camera.
P.S. It was 59°F out!

Getting up close to the flowers made focus even harder, so I had to stop down to f/2, but even so I'm quite happy with how this one came out (and that bokeh!)

The weeping cherry tree in our front yard is in full bloom and it's always beautiful (while it lasts) so I decided to put my manual focus Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f/0.95 lens on and take a couple of shots and boy howdy is it hard to nail the focus at f/0.95... but I still got a couple of good shots:

I dug out the second camera I ever owned It was second hand when I got it so it is probably 70+ years.
It was of a nightmare to use. It is a seriously complex camera that no one in the family really knew how to use so it got moth balled.
It's a medium format camera using 120mm film.
I realise now that I now know how to use it and that it has vast artistic potential so it is going for a service and then I am gonna play! -
Yesterday The Breeders in Paradiso Amsterdam were in a great mood, lots of technical intermissions (the tech that can pry away Kim's pedalboard from her constant rearranging still has to be born) gave room for some chatting about bikes, the tour and sisters, and still managed to be an energetic set, with a great variety of their back catalogue. #thebreeders #paradisoAmsterdam #concert #xpro3 #fujifilm #voightlander

New lens at a favored spot. Yup, that is significantly sharper than the chroma double glass. 👍
One of these was taken with an Ir filter, the rest are unfiltered.

I’ve recently been taking photographs on a circa 1956 film camera made in West Germany. This little #Voightlander Vito BL has no range finding ability — focus is manual and estimated in ‘metres from subject’. It has a manual selenium-strip light meter to assist with estimating shutter speed and aperture.
Despite its limitations, I’ve found such joy in learning how to use it and excitement when getting a roll of film developed.
