Belgien hatte als Vorsitz eigene Akzente gesetzt und das Konzept der „Uploadmoderation“ eingeführt, um zu versuchen die #Chatkontrolle durchzusetzen.
Photo als Symbolbild für #Uploadmoderation von einer Aktion der @datenfreude: Das Konzept sah vor Kernfeatures wie den Versand von Bildern, URLs und vielleicht auch Emojis zu verbieten, wenn User der Chatkontrolle nicht "freiwillig" zustimmen.
Es wird spannend ob Ungarn auch so "kreative" Tricks versucht für den Totalangriff auf #Verschlüsselung.

Today the proposal for Chat Control, or "Upload Moderation" as it's now known, will be voted on in the EU to see if it will go forward.
As @matthew_d_green said on another site, this is "...an architecture decision for how private messaging systems work : if it passes, by law these systems will be wired for mass surveillance. This can be used for any purpose."
Does anyone really want to live under this kind of relentless gaze?
