Anlässlich des #TransDayOfRememberance diskutierten Kai* Brust und Jenny Rasnov über die Relevanz von queerer und Trans-Geschichte und #Erinnerungskultur. Sie sprachen auch über rechte Gewalt gegenüber queeren Menschen in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart und über die Bedarfe von Betroffenen, vor allem im ländlichen Raum. Die Veranstaltung wurde organisiert von der Gedenkstätte Lichtenburg und der Partnerschaft für Demokratie im Landkreis Wittenburg.

Some of us can't leave, even if we wanted to.

Dieser Tag ist unglaublich wichtig, um allen (!) ins Bewusstsein zu rufen, welchen Gefahren trans* Menschen in unserer Gesellschaft ausgesetzt sind.
In Zeiten, in denen die CDU eine Neuauflage der "Rosa Listen" anstrebt, in denen Menschen erfasst werden sollen, die ihren Geschlechtseintrag haben anpassen lassen, ist dieser Tag noch einmal besonders wichtig.
